Employee Solutions’ Revenues Up 36% In 2012

With annual revenues up 36 percent in 2012 and its number of offices nearly doubling last year, Employee Solutions said today that it is very well positioned for continued strong growth this year.

Employee Solutions, which provides custom staffing services for light industrial, administrative, and call center companies, attributed its powerful revenue growth to both increased activity with existing clients and a strong influx of business with new clients. About 11 percent of its 2012 revenue was attributable to new clients, and the number of clients grew by 36 percent.

“In 2012, we built solidly on the gains we achieved in 2011, when our revenue grew by 61 percent over 2010,” said David Bristol, CEO of Employee Solutions. “The new clients we gained in 2012 are long-term partners, so as they grow, we will grow with them.”

Employee Solutions opened two offices in Houston, one in Austin, and one in North Richland Hills in 2012, bringing its total number of offices in Texas to nine. Bristol said those locations are already starting to ramp up, and he expects them to contribute significantly to another strong growth year, especially in the second half of 2013, for Employee Solutions.

In 2012, Employee Solutions averaged 2,658 associates per day placed with clients, a 26 percent increase over 2011, when the number of individuals was 2,113.

While the vast majority of Employee Solutions’ clients are light industrial companies, the company last year added a major call center client and is planning in 2013 to further penetrate that market.

“We expect that this year will be a very strong year in the staffing industry,” Bristol said. “There is a lot of uncertainty out there about the economy and the effect of the Affordable Care Act and other regulations. Because of that, companies are expanding initially through staffing. That allows them to add employees without worrying about the legal ramifications of the size of their employee base.”

Other 2012 highlights for Employee Solutions included:

  • Being ranked 17th in the SMU-Cox Dallas 100 Awards of the fastest-growing Dallas-based companies.
  • Inclusion in the Inc. 5000, Inc. magazine’s ranking of privately held companies; Employee Solutions came in at number 3022, but in the top 100 among human resources companies.
  • Being ranked the 10th largest privately held company in Collin County by Collin County Business Press, and 8th on the Dallas Business Journal’s list of largest Metroplex staffing companies.
