Collin County Judge Chris Hill has appointed David Bristol of Prosper and John Rattan of Anna to the North Central Texas Workforce Solutions Board of Directors for terms that expire on September 30, 2022. The North Central Texas Workforce Solutions Board oversees the planning, oversight, policy guidance and design of services in 12 Texas Workforce Centers located across the 14-county workforce development area. The North Central Texas Workforce Solutions Board is one of 28 Workforce Development boards in the State of Texas and is one of the larger boards in Texas.
Workforce Board Members are leaders within their communities and are appointed by the chief elected official of the county in which they reside or operate their business. Because businesses are the driving force within the economy, the Board is comprised largely of private business leaders. However, the Board includes representatives from the other key partners within the workforce system: economic development entities, chambers of commerce, labor, education and community organizations.
David Bristol is the co-founder, President, and CEO of Employee Solutions, LP, one of the largest privately-held staffing firms in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The company employs over 3,000 individuals on a weekly basis and provides more than 100 internal full-time jobs. Employee Solutions was named one of the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing privately held companies in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015; and received the SMU Cox School of Business’ Dallas 100 Award in 2012, 2013, and 2014. During his first career in the United States Air Force, Bristol served as an F-111 and F-15E fighter pilot, for which he received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Meritorious Service Medal, and numerous Air Medals. He is also a former councilman and Mayor Pro Tem for the Town of Prosper.
John Rattan is the founder of The Body Shop Collision Repair centers with over 90 employees and 3 locations. John also operates a working farm in northern Collin County that was part of the original Collin County land grant in 1840. A native of McKinney, John believes in being involved in his community. The list of his involvement on boards, organizations and initiatives is quite lengthy, and it demonstrates his dedication to providing leadership in areas where the impact is on quality of life and pride in the community. Residing in Anna, John is married and has four children and four grandchildren.

Employee Solutions, the fast-growing provider of industrial custom staffing services, has opened its eighth office in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the third in Tarrant County.
The newest office is located at 4102 South Cooper Street in Arlington. The office, led by Area Operations Manager Julian Cipriano, is staffed to enable Employee Solutions to rapidly ramp up local hiring, particularly for clients in manufacturing and distribution.
It was the increased hiring needs of existing manufacturing clients in the area, combined with additional opportunities in Arlington and Tarrant County, which prompted Employee Solutions to open the Arlington office, according to David Bristol, CEO of the company. Employee Solutions has other Tarrant County offices in North Richland Hills and Grand Prairie.
“As our existing staffing clients expand in the thriving Texas economy, we grow along with them, locating support personnel nearby to help manage their contingent workforce,” Bristol said. “Of course, these office locations also aid us in new client growth as well, making us more visible and convenient to potential clients.”
Earlier this year, Employee Solutions launched operations in Arkansas, adding to its existing locations in Texas and Oklahoma. The company now has a total of 17 locations, in Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio in Texas; Tulsa, Muskogee, and Broken Arrow in Oklahoma; and Jonesboro, Arkansas.
The newest office highlights Employee Solutions’ consistent strong growth. The company has been named to the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies list for three years in a row. In 2014, the company was listed at number 3,174, with 110 percent growth over the past three years.

Employee Solutions Launches Arkansas Operations
Expands into New Region Along with Key Manufacturing Client
Employee Solutions, a leading provider of industrial custom staffing services, has expanded again, this time in Arkansas, with a new business location in Jonesboro.
This is the first time that Employee solutions has launched operations in Arkansas, as it grows along with a key client, an international maker of industrial tools. Employee Solutions has handled the contingent workforce needs for that client for three years, and is now taking charge of the staffing functions for its Jonesboro manufacturing plant.
The initial operations are on-site, based at the plant, but Employee Solutions does plan to open an office in Jonesboro this year.
“We have expanded through new offices and acquisitions over the past year, but this latest expansion is more organic, and really our preferred way of growth,” explained David Bristol, CEO of Employee Solutions. “The idea is to do such a good job for a client that they want to use your services in new locations as they grow.”
Employee Solutions has hired an on-site manager for the Jonesboro operations, and plans to begin the process of hiring about 25 additional employees for the manufacturing company client.
In 2014, Employee Solutions opened new offices in San Antonio and McKinney, Texas, and added two new offices in Oklahoma – in Tulsa and in Muskogee – through acquisitions.
Employee Solutions’ continued growth is reflected in the fact that it has been named to the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies list for three years in a row. In the 2014 list, the company was at number 3174, with 110 percent growth over the past three years.
