Employees of staffing company Employee Solutions, along with the company’s clients, went all out this year to make sure that the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County would have ample toys for needy children during its annual Holly Jolly Project toy store event this week.
Plano-based Employee Solutions, a leading provider of custom staffing services for light industrial and other companies, led a drive among employees and key clients that raised more than $9,500 in cash donations and some $3,500 worth of toys, all of which was delivered to the Center last week. That total is more than 23 percent higher than the 2013 drive.
Employees at the company’s 14 offices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and in Austin, Houston, and northeastern Oklahoma provided much of the donated toys, electronic gifts, and cash, along with generous donations from clients and a social media fund-raiser.
The 114 employees of Employee Solutions donated cash and toys, and the company matched clients’ donations dollar-for-dollar. The company also turned to social media, promoting the drive on its Facebook page and gaining hundreds more in donations there.
“The Children’s Advocacy Center is our favorite charity, and we wanted to be sure that the children they work with, despite their troubled situations, can have a happy Christmas,” said David Bristol, CEO of Employee Solutions. “We have been blessed with another profitable year at our company, so we were happy to share. So were our clients and partners, among them Sanden International, CSM Bakery, Midwest Veterinarian Supply, Communications Supply, Splash Media, and Vendo.”
Employee Solutions was named again this year to the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies list, its third year in a row. It has added scores of new employees and hundreds of staffing associates. The company, which is expert at managing large contingent workforces, expanded operations and opened offices in San Antonio, North Texas, and Oklahoma this year.
